Orrami is four people in a second-floor workshop on Hope Street, Providence. We cast, file, set and finish every order under one roof, and we sign the ones we are proud of.
The metal
Every gram we cast is refined from scrap — old settings, bench sweepings, industrial offcuts. Recycled gold is chemically identical to newly mined gold and costs the ground nothing. We keep the refiner’s assay with each batch, and you can ask to see it.
The stones
Our specialty is lab-grown diamonds: same carbon lattice, same refractive fire, a fraction of the extraction. Each stone above 0.50 ct arrives with an IGI report. Where a client asks for a mined stone, we source only from traced, single-origin parcels.
The hand
A setting is a decision made forty times with a graver, not a step in a machine cycle. That is why a template is sent before production and why nothing is cut until you approve it. It is also why we cannot rush a piece — and will say so.
