Bespoke terms
These terms govern every piece Orrami makes to order. They are written to be read, not to be survived — if any clause is unclear, ask us before you pay.
Deposit and balance
A 50% deposit is due before any CAD work begins. The balance is due before shipping. Both are settled by Zelle or bank transfer; we issue a numbered invoice for each. Nothing is reserved, cast or ordered before the deposit clears — usually one to two business days after you send it.
The template
Before production we send a CAD template: rendered views, exact dimensions, stone specification and total weight. That document — not the studio render — is the contractual description of your piece. Read the dimensions, not just the picture.
Modifications
Modifications are free and unlimited before you approve the template. After approval, a change means remaking the piece: the deposit is not carried over, and a new quote is issued. Two rounds of template revision are included in every commission.
Manufacturing tolerances
Hand-finished work varies. We hold ±0.15 mm on band width and thickness, ±0.10 mm on stone diameter, and ±5% on total carat weight. Colour and clarity grades are guaranteed to the stated grade or better. Surface textures are made by hand, and no two pieces will ever be identical.
Delivery
Five to seven weeks from approved template, insured and tracked, signature required. Delays caused by stone sourcing are communicated as soon as we know; you may cancel and be refunded in full if a sourcing delay exceeds three weeks.
Cancellation and refunds
Cancel any time before template approval and the deposit is refunded in full, less any stone already cut to your specification. After approval the deposit is non-refundable. Ready-to-ship pieces follow the standard 30-day return policy.
The single clause we ask you to read twice: once you approve the template, the 50% deposit stops being refundable. Approval is the moment metal is cut, and cut metal for one finger cannot be sold to another.
